Sherlock Holmes made the non-barking dog the key clue [scroll down]. NY Times et al. do something like that. They manage to talk about Islamic terrorism in Canada without using the word "Muslim" or "Islam" and using "Koran" only in defense of shot bomb-maker: Here and here.
Whatever are they up to? NYT et al., that is. We have a pretty good idea what the others are up to.
